Squire handles daily codebase housekeeping — dependency updates, lint checks, TODO audits, and environment sync. It's the quiet maintenance layer that catches small issues before they compound into technical debt. Squire runs at 4AM, handles the mundane, and hands off anything that needs fixing to Mender (Self-Healing CI/CD).
Philosophy: Maintenance is not glamorous. It's essential. Small issues caught daily never become large issues.
Origin: Dependencies went stale. TODOs accumulated. Lint errors crept in between focused development sessions. Nobody's job to check daily, so nobody did. Squire runs every morning and reports what it finds.
