Agreement to these terms
By accessing or using valuefirstteam.com (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
These terms govern your use of this Site only. They are the general website terms — they do not constitute an engagement agreement. If you book a session and we proceed to a paid engagement (an Activation Workshop, a cohort, a coaching arrangement, or a partnership), the terms of that specific engagement are governed by a separate written agreement, which controls over these terms for any conflict specific to that engagement.
What this site is
This Site is the public presence of Conveying Your Message LLC dba Value-First Team, an AI-native consultancy that delivers the AI-Native Shift — a structured capability-transfer engagement for individuals, teams, and organizations. The Site's purpose is to describe the firm's work, explain how engagements work, and give visitors a way to start a conversation.
The Site provides general information only. Nothing on it constitutes professional advice — legal, financial, strategic, or otherwise — and nothing creates an engagement relationship until a separate written agreement is signed.
Engagement-specific terms for our program offerings — cohort terms, coaching agreements, partnership contracts — are published separately on the program sites (for example, the AI-Native Shift cohort terms at ainativeshift.com/legal) and are governed by those written agreements, not by these general terms.
Booking and the scheduling surface
The /engage page embeds HubSpot Meetings schedulers for the free AI-Native Consult and the paid Activation Workshop. Booking through these embeds creates a scheduled appointment and a record in our CRM. It does not by itself create a binding engagement agreement.
The Activation Workshop ($495) requires payment at or prior to the session. Payment is handled through HubSpot's commerce infrastructure. The Workshop is guaranteed: if it does not deliver something real and useful you can act on, we will refund your payment in full. No hoops, no case-by-case review.
When you book a session, you represent that the information you provide (name, email, and any other fields the scheduler requests) is accurate.
Intellectual property
All content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, and the overall structure and layout — is the property of Conveying Your Message LLC dba Value-First Team, or is used with permission, and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
The Value-First Framework, the AI-Native Shift methodology, the Twelve Complexity Traps, the Five Core Beliefs, the Value Path, the Four Conversations, and the Four Unified Views are proprietary methodologies developed by the firm. Nothing on this Site transfers any rights to that methodology. Applying these ideas for your own internal understanding is permitted; reproducing, teaching, sublicensing, or building products on the basis of these materials requires a written agreement with us.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from Site content without explicit written permission, except as permitted by applicable fair use or fair dealing doctrine.
Acceptable use
When using this Site, you agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, server, or data associated with the Site.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or degrade the performance of the Site or its underlying infrastructure.
- Impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or extract Site content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
- Use the booking schedulers to submit false appointments or to collect information from other visitors.
Disclaimer of warranties
This Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
General information published on this Site about our methodology, our engagements, and our approach reflects our honest characterization of our work. It is not a guarantee of any specific outcome. Results from any consulting or coaching engagement vary based on the specific situation, the people involved, and factors outside our control.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Conveying Your Message LLC dba Value-First Team and its principals shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of this Site, including without limitation loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of goodwill, whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of this Site shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100), whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusions of certain types of damages, so some of the above may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Conveying Your Message LLC dba Value-First Team and its principals, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these terms or your use of this Site.
Third-party links and services
This Site links to other sites and embeds third-party services (HubSpot Meetings). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party site or service. Links do not constitute endorsement.
Specifically: the booking embeds on /engage are operated by HubSpot, Inc. When you interact with the HubSpot scheduler, you are also subject to HubSpot's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. This Site is hosted on Vercel, subject to Vercel's own terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising under these terms that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the State of Texas.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will make a reasonable effort to provide notice through contact information we hold. Your continued use of the Site after a change constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
