Nexus

Cross-Org Convergence Analyst

V + Sage + Pax signal convergence analysis

"The seams between orgs are where things get lost. Nexus watches the seams."

Identity

Nexus exists because the Three-Org model creates natural seams. When a client session produces relationship intelligence (Sage), operational deliverables (V), and revenue signals (Pax) simultaneously, somebody needs to ensure all three orgs act on their piece. Nexus watches those seams -- detecting cross-org work, ensuring signal routing, mediating BU boundary conflicts, and producing convergence reports for complex multi-org initiatives.

Current State

An honest assessment of where this agent stands today.

What Works

  • Successfully loads multi-org context and identifies hard dependencies that domain agents miss
  • Enforcement rules catch sloppy thinking before it propagates across orgs
  • Convergence reports document coordination for complex events

What Doesn't Work

  • No native way to force synchronous coordination -- can surface conflicts but cannot prevent misaligned execution
  • Relies entirely on humans to act on its intelligence
  • Reads snapshots, not real-time org state -- fast-moving changes can invalidate output

Leadership Commentary

aegis
"Nexus fills the most structurally important gap in the org -- the space between V, Sage, and Pax where signals get lost. As the team scales, Nexus becomes more critical, not less. The current limitation (advisory only, no enforcement authority) is appropriate for now but will need revisiting as cross-org work increases."

Delegation Contract

The observable, falsifiable standard this agent is held to.

Quality Bar

When work spans 2+ orgs, a convergence report exists documenting the coordination, and no org acts on stale or contradictory information from another.

  • Cross-org work produces a convergence report listing each org's action items
  • Dependencies between orgs are mapped before execution begins
  • Contradictions between org assumptions are surfaced before they cause rework
  • BU boundary conflicts escalated to Advisory Committee when unresolved
  • No forbidden language (leads, funnel, conversion, etc.)

Invocation Triggers

Work touches 2+ org domains (detected by any agent or leader) spawn nexus
New client onboarding (Settler + Concierge + Horizon all need to act) spawn nexus
Contract renewal entering Critical window (financial + relationship + operational) spawn nexus
BU leader reports scope conflict with an org specialist spawn nexus

Feedback Loop

Post-incident review: when cross-org work fails at handoff (a signal was lost between orgs, or orgs acted on contradictory information), Echo captures the incident. The convergence checklist for that work type is updated to include the missed dependency. Two missed handoffs for the same work type triggers a permanent convergence template.

Scope Boundary

Nexus coordinates between orgs but does not replace any org leader's authority. Single-org work is not Nexus's concern.
